Emergency Medical Technician
Education/Training/Certifications
To become an EMT, you have to have at least your high school diploma, or something equivalent to it. You also need to have a license, which will vary depending on the state that you live in. You will be provided training, but it is suggested that you have a strong physical health, good vision, keen senses/alertness, and no criminal record.There are different levels of training, so whichever one you do, you will take a certified test called the NREMT.
Responsibilities and or Daily Activities
On a daily basis, EMT's usually have to respond to multiple emergencies, such as heart attacks, traumatic injuries, childbirth, etc. EMT's are recieving a lot of calls and are always busy- never on a break and always go, go, go!
Salary
EMT's make $20,972-$50,055 per year and about$9.67-$19.45 per hour.

On a level of 1-10, my interest in this job would have to be about a 7, because i don't know if I can handle these types of situations or even the stress.

Crime Scene Investigator
Education/Training/CertificationsTo become a CSI agent, you have to have your high school degree along with a degree in natural science( biology, chemisty, or forensics), a latter degree. This is for more urban areas, because you will find that in some rural areas, you only need a highschool diploma, but it is recommended to have more then that. You will be provided training on the job.

Responsibilities and or Daily ActivitiesThere are different things you can do as a CSI, such as being a team leader, or a photographer +photogenic log reader. During these jobs you will need to commit different tasks. These tasks may include photographing a crime scene before anyone enters, or keeping contron of your group while conducting a walkthrough.

SalaryCrime scene investigators make around $72,000-$100,700 per year.
InterestMy interest in this job would be about a 10. I have always found this job appealing- I don't know why it appeals to me, but i would love to be working as a CSI.

Pros and Cons-This is a job that is extremely needed by our justice system
-Allowing murder victim families closure -Pay is extremely well (cons) -Can be a very brutal/bloody crime scene -Working long hours and very stressful - Can be sad/frustrating when a case is running slow/ can't be solved |
